The professional development materials necessary to support a $300 million donation to the national ConnectED initiative
After committing to donating a significant collection of software to schools in need, this Fortune 500 company asked us to develop a wide range of professional development materials to help the participating educators learn new instructional strategies and activities aligned to content standards using the donated software.
Adobe quickly realized they faced a significant demand for high-quality resources to support thousands of educators using their digital creativity, elearning development, and electronic signature tools for the first time. Knowing first hand of the quality results we produce, and having heard of our work to support large-scale implementations of professional development initiatives elsewhere, the company instinctively hired Clarity Innovations.
We quickly outlined a content development plan that would create a mix of professional development materials aligned with their strategic objectives to increase market awareness about the importance of creativity and the use of digital creativity tools across the curriculum in the K-12 and higher education markets. Once finalized, we undertook the development and revision of 13 self-guided online workshops, produced a seven part webinar series, and contributed to their online learning community for educators participating in the ConnectED initiative.
The professional development materials launched in Summer 2014. Since then, our client's commitment to the ConnectED initiative has helped educators in participating schools promote digital creativity and expression with over 350,000 students.
