With nearly two decades of experience spanning education and learning innovation, Tavia brings a unique perspective to leading the Creative Services team at Clarity Innovations. Her journey from an educator and technology coach to Creative Services Manager reflects her ability to translate pedagogical expertise into scalable solutions that meet diverse client needs.
At Clarity Innovations, Tavia's career progression reflects her deepening understanding of creative collaboration. She began as a content creator, designing learning experiences and developing educational materials. This hands-on work evolved into becoming a Client Lead Producer, where she led project teams on coordinated cross-functional efforts and managed client relationships. Now, as Creative Services Manager, she oversees the entire department, bringing together learning experience designers, content developers, graphic designers, and digital producers.
This internal journey at Clarity gives Tavia unique insight into each role on her team. Having worked directly in content creation, she understands the creative process from concept to completion. Her experience leading project teams taught her how different expertises intersect and complement each other. This comprehensive background allows her to effectively support team members across disciplines, anticipate workflow challenges, and foster collaboration between roles that might otherwise work in silos. Under her leadership, Clarity's Creative Services department is able to deliver customized, high-impact content across diverse client contexts while maintaining consistent quality and pedagogical integrity.
Tavia's career foundation includes significant roles at public schools as a high school English teacher, a high school librarian, and an education technology TOSA. She also worked at The Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, where she designed professional learning programs for schools across North Carolina. At the Friday Institute, she served as project lead for two major statewide coaching initiatives—The Coaching Collaborative and the North Carolina Digital Leaders Coaching Network— and managed both district partnerships and content development processes that served hundreds of educators.
