Lisa Fisher

Learning Experience Designer
In March 2024, Lisa Fisher joined our extended network of alumni.

With a background in early childhood education and instructional technology, Lisa brings a diverse wealth of knowledge to her position as an instructional designer. In her 10 years of experience as a classroom teacher, Lisa knows first-hand how technology can be used to develop early literacy, math, and science skills. She was a leader in her district for educational technology, writing grants and piloting technology programs in her school. Lisa often invited other educators to observe and participate in her lessons, inspiring a school-wide technology integration plan that included mobile carts and interactive whiteboard technologies. Her classroom was featured on the district’s web site as a model for best practices in technology integration.

In her position at Clarity Innovations, Lisa collaborates with other content team members to design innovative education solutions that put technology into the hands of students and teachers. She has a knack for understanding what educators need in order to meet the unique learning needs of today’s digital students. Her strengths as a writer allow her to write for a diverse audience, from administrators to experienced educators to beginning technology users in developing countries. Lisa has authored several e-learning courses, published professional development workshops, and plays an integral role in professional learning centered around educator online communities. In addition to educational technology, Lisa’s interests and areas of expertise within education span from STEM to design thinking to learning environments that support and encourage student creativity. Her educational philosophy is closely tied to her work, as she strives to develop curriculum and teaching tools that encourage design thinking and ideation, and empower students to think of innovative ways to approach learning.
