Cath Cuff

Instructional Designer
In October 2014, Cath Cuff joined our extended network of alumni.

Cath boasts an overwhelming passion in helping train educators in how to incorporate technology into the classroom: facilitating a rich and rewarding learning experience for students. She brings to Clarity 18 years in teaching second to twelfth graders—everything from science, math, and computer networking to language arts and leadership— in addition four years of content development and instructional design experience with an educational focus. Her diverse career experiences bring together a unique knowledge of classroom teaching, leadership, and solid curriculum and instructional design.

Highlights

Cath approaches all her projects the same way: from the perspective of making teaching, instruction, and curriculum design materials as solid, useful, and easily incorporated into classrooms as possible. And—whether the learner is young or adult—Cath is driven in partnering with companies who share her passion in making a difference, which is why she chose Clarity Innovations. She brings a great mix of expertise to the team from both the classroom and from the product development world. Most of Cath’s education career was spent with Oregon’s Gervais School District as a classroom educator for over a decade, and the district’s technology coordinator for another three. In the last few years, Cath has been immersed in instructional design, working for Inspiration Software and then Knowledge Universe. While there, she created a slew of instructor-led training materials, job aids, FAQs, eLearning courses and webinars on a variety of topics related to early education topics.

Education

Cath earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science and Secondary Education from Western Oregon University and her Masters of Education in School Counseling from the University of Southern Mississippi. She also maintains her Oregon standard teaching license for grades 5-12 integrated science education.
