Our expertise is grounded in classroom realities, and that informs everything from curriculum development to training to communications strategies. Nonprofit organizations working in the education sector turn to Clarity for help facilitating national and regional conferences, building online communities, and engineering technology solutions that fulfill a public good.
We get itWe understand the inherent role of nonprofit organizations and foundations in promoting excellence in education across five core areas: leadership, operations, communication, professional development and student achievement. That’s why Clarity Innovations supports a variety of organizations with strategy, logistical support, and expert resources to help accomplish their important goals.
We can prove itConfederation of Oregon School Administrators turned to Clarity for help with educational technology strategy, infrastructure, and implementation issues. By helping this organization with its technology vision, we are also helping to model the benefits of strong technology leadership skills to administrators from across the state.
National School Boards Association turned to Clarity Innovations to help maximize the community-building potential of its annual conference. We helped NSBA design and set up a conference weblog, then enlisted our own expert educators to contribute valuable online content. Our experts also presented conference sessions dealing with key issues and leading-edge topics in educational technology.
Clarity Innovations connected the world’s largest educational technology conference, National Educational Computing Conference, with a large online audience in 2004, thanks to the conference weblog that Clarity Innovations designed, developed, hosted and edited. This project demonstrated the appeal of online communities—nearly one in four conference attendees took part. The conference blog gave attendees a voice and a forum for interacting with fellow attendees. It also helped attendees learn about sessions they didn’t have time to fit into their schedule. Long after the conference booths were packed up, the online blog remained online—a collaboratively written history of the event.
And that’s not allOur services to nonprofit organizations and foundations go further than just the needs of education. Clarity Innovations has been called upon to develop, implement and manage technology infrastructure at the American Academy of Achievement’s annual summit for three consecutive years, one of which was held in Dublin, Ireland. Even then, we stayed true to our mission, by applying new technology and processes to save them time, money and effort.
