We work with schools and districts to plan and implement technology solutions to better serve their teachers, administrators, students, and communities. We offer a comprehensive range of services—from Web-based solutions to increase parent and staff communications, to professional development in technology integration, to help with technology infrastructure planning and implementation.

We help educators address technology strategy issues so that they can focus on their ultimate goal: meeting student needs more effectively. School leaders use our tools and resources to streamline online staff development systems, manage student data, and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other community members. Our veteran educators also develop and deliver professional development that meets teachers’ needs for learning about effective technology integration.

Portland Public Schools in Oregon has turned to Clarity Innovations for nearly a decade to assist with everything from infrastructure issues to professional development to using technology to communicate with diverse audiences. Two elementary schools make robust use of school weblogs to improve internal staff communications and also connect with parents. Clarity Innovations not only helped set up the blogs, but provided training to help educators get comfortable using the sites. A high school turned to Clarity for help with developing an online system to report discipline incidents and detention notices. Our work began a decade ago, when the district asked Clarity Innovations to build an online database system to track professional development course offerings, automate registration, manage credits, and archive class history.

Our experience in education goes beyond the classroom. As pioneering practitioners in Web-based distance education, we understand what effective instruction looks like and how to create sustainable online-learning programs. For example, Linn-Benton-Lincoln ESD in Oregon enlisted Clarity Innovations’ help to expand its distance education program for high school students and the American School of Lima, Peru called on Clarity Innovations to provide workshops and a keynote presentation about online learning.

And our services continue to expand. Educational conference sponsors turn to Clarity Innovations to add technical expertise and educational value to major events. Clarity Innovations has contributed to the success of a number of conferences, including: National School Boards Association T+L2 Conference, National Education Computing Conference, the ISTE Leadership Symposium, and the Intel Innovation in Education Web Tools Forum. Clarity Innovations’ experts have been presenters at major events, including Alan November’s Building Learning Communities, and O’Reilly’s Emerging Technology Conference.
