Jen Begonia

In October 2021, Jen Begonia joined our extended network of alumni.

Jen Lytle Begonia comes from a proud tradition of service in public and higher education, with a family tree full of classroom teachers, librarians, instructional specialists, counselors, professors, and school, district, and university leaders. For over two decades, Jen has focused on empowering and supporting K-20 practitioners and learners with educational content and technology solutions. She brings to Clarity extensive knowledge of the K-12 edtech marketplace and deep expertise in edtech product development and strategy.

During her career, Jen has worn many hats, serving as director of content, vice president of product development, and executive producer. She has worked for the likes of the Jim Henson Company, HomeworkCentral (which became bigchalk before being acquired by ProQuest), McGraw-Hill, Curriki, ScholarCentric, and Achieve3000.

Highlights

Jen has touched most every aspect of education technology and publishing. During her career, she has developed curriculum and assessment tools, created digital teaching and learning content, served as the Principal Investigator on a SBIR grant from the USDOE, designed and implemented go-to-market resources for educators internationally, and led usability research to inform product redesign and development priorities. She gets excited when edtech solutions truly make a difference for learners, and enjoys delighting clients with measurable, real-world results.
