While Adobe Systems enjoys tremendous commercial success, the company has always strived for greater use by educators, especially beyond those responsible for teaching art, design, or multimedia. The company hadn’t expanded their professional development much beyond a collection of technical training materials about their products. Recognizing our blended expertise could enable them to increase the awareness of their ability to support the K–12 curriculum, they hired Clarity to develop a self-guided online training workshop series about creativity in the classroom.
From design sessions with the client, we validated the education audience priorities, re ned course concepts and pedagogical approaches, and delivered a roadmap of the online professional development courses to be developed. We then provided the instructional design and content expertise to create a series of self-guided online courses on creativity in the classroom, as well as generated the resource les, facilitation guides, and related materials to serve as a template for future courses.
