Educator Stories

Showcasing teacher successes with powerful vignettes that speak to a diverse range of products, use cases, contexts, content areas, and grade levels.

Several thousand educators worldwide freely share their expertise and resources through the Adobe Education Exchange website (“EdEx”). Yet, there wasn’t an easy, intuitive way of showcasing and championing these individuals with gripping stories of their success using Adobe products in the classroom. What was needed was a platform for educators to tell their own stories about their unique and exhilarating journeys, to inspire other educators to follow in their footsteps. Adobe was looking for a partner to help imagine what those amazing stories would look like: with just the right mix of human interest, educational context, and practical take-aways or lessons learned. This secret formula was vital in constructing powerful vignettes that spoke to specific interests across a diverse range of products, use cases, contexts, content areas, and grade levels.

We collaborated with Adobe Education to design and develop the specifics for producing an educator stories program on Adobe EdEx. We determined the criteria for what makes a compelling and relatable educator profile, drafted a blueprint for what vignette should accomplish, and a workflow for receiving, reviewing, editing, approving, and publishing these submissions from educators all over the world. We applied our education market expertise to determine what works best in terms of frequency of sharing, the type of story told, and how those stories should best be presented (whether as marketing or as professional development, for example). After establishing the blueprint for a thought-provoking vignette, we created three “mock” stories from which to evaluate of different styles of production, duration, and tone to refine and perfect the style of the reflect the variety of educator stories. The result was a stunning range of captivating voices, each speaking to the unique disciplines, challenges and attitudes of educators everywhere. These relatable profiles were packaged with examples of Adobe products in action.
