If you're attending EdNET this year in Boston, look for Clarity Innovations' representative: Thor Prichard.  EdNET brings together the education industry's leaders, experts and key players for "the premier business-to-business conference in the industry". Designed to provide a networking and discussion forum, the intent is to come away with new ideas, colleagues and insight.

Find us at the next meeting of the NW Education Cluster, Tuesday, August 5, at 6:30pm.  On the agenda are a series of presentations from local business schools, the Saturday Academy, and one local company working in the education marketplace.  We hope to see you there!

The 10th annual Open Source Conference (OSCON) is taking place in Portland this week and Clarity Innovations is one of the sponsors of the Drupal Community Welcome Social on Wednesday (7/23).  There, we will enjoy many local treats (food and beverage) and swap stories with our compatriots. Thor Prichard, President & CEO, will be attending the 2008 Internet Strategy Forum Summit taking place this week in Portland, Oregon. The Summit gives Clarity a chance to share insights and ideas about the role and affect of ubiquitous networking and computing on our society with others from Forrester Research, Disney, Nike, Intel, IBM, WebTrends and Fandango. Clarity plays an important role at the Summit, bringing its hybrid perspective of education and technology to the table.

Join Thor Prichard and Steven Burt at the National Education Computing Conference (NECC) June 30th through July 2nd in San Antonio, Texas. Find us contributing to the discussion at many of the Web 2.0 related sessions and the discussion on Twitter.

]Several of our staff will be attending sessions and sharing ideas with colleagues at WebVisions. The annual event, taking place later this week over at the Oregon Convention Center, explores the future of design, content creation, user experience and business strategy to uncover the trends and agents of change that force everyone to rethink their assumptions about the Web.

As a member of the Northwest Education Cluster, Clarity Innovations is participating in a special roundtable discussion on Building a 21st Century Education System for Oregon at the sixth annual event being held at the Oregon Convention Center on December 3rd.
