Colorado Legacy Foundation
As an organization growing in its impact and scale, the Colorado Legacy Foundation recently turned to Clarity Innovations to help create a dynamic online professional learning community.
The CLF Online Communities site is designed to support an expanding list of initiatives driven by the foundation. For example, the Colorado Integration Project is a collaborative effort involving 13 Colorado school districts to pilot a more integrated model of teaching and learning. Participating educators and administrators from across the state will use the CLF Online Communities site as their primary tool to securely share, collaborate, and communicate about their work.
Approved members of each group on the site can search and contribute to a collection of that group’s resource materials, such as articles, forms, best practices, presentations, or videos. They can also find and subscribe to a calendar of upcoming group events, easily ask questions and communicate with their peers via discussion posts.
In addition to using the site for its main initiative projects, the Colorado Legacy Foundation also uses it to support the needs of its internal staff via a private group offering an organizational calendar, announcements, document sharing, and discussions.
Over time, CLF’s site administrators can easily add new groups to the site dedicated to the efforts of new initiative projects.
