• We build our solutions using “best of breed” open source applications. We prototype and sandbox each revision before migrating them into production solutions.
• We create custom “code glue” to assemble the applications into a coherent solution.
• We provide our own issue tracking, source control and deployment tools, in case our clients don't have any yet.
• We code in php, .NET, python, ruby, perl, or ASP, depending on the requirements of each solution.
• We run three flavors of operating systems, two flavors of database servers, and two forms of authentication management on our servers.
• In most cases, we host the solutions for our clients, using a third level DNS entry on their domain. We maintain data center redundancy in three geographically diverse locations.
• Frequently, we integrate user authentication with client systems in Active Directory or any LDAP capable directory service.
