Clarity Sponsoring ITSC 2012

Now in its second decade, the Instructional Technology Strategies Conference (ITSC) is unlike most professional development events. Instead of the usual "sit and get" approach, the premise of ITSC is active learning, with ample hands-on practice time and continuous dialog between facilitators and teams of participants from around the Pacific Northwest. ITSC is produced by the Organization for Educational Technology and Curriculum (OETC).

Clarity’s client recognized by Governor Kitzhaber

Two years ago, Clarity Innovations began working with the Organization for Educational Technology and Curriculum (OETC) to build a Web application to facilitate collaboration among state Enhancing Education Through Technology grant recipients. Since then, the Web application has collected over 250 searchable effective instructional technology practices that are aligned with state content standards.

Today, Oregon Governor Kitzhaber is recognizing the work of those nearly 200 teachers, school administrators, and staff developers from 25 different schools that received subgrants from the Oregon Department of Education of federal Title IID and ARRA stimulus grants. The Web application Clarity built will be demonstrated during the final showcase and celebration event.
