SxSW-Clarity-2013

We are geared up to trek the highly energized South by Southwest (SXSW) conference in Austin, TX. This is the event where some of the most creative intersections take place in Technology Design and Interaction. As tradition, CEO of Clarity Innovations, Thor Prichard, will be the eyes and ears as our intrepid reporter and representative, to collect research, identify trends, and gain more perspective and insight as to what's ahead for next generation education.

If you plan to attend and would like to connect about how Clarity’s vision aligns with these topics, stay tuned to the Foundry Blog for reports from the field.

Sponsor of IntegratED 2013

Clarity Innovations is continuing its traditional sponsorship of the Faciltiator's Dinner at IntegratED, taking place February 17-19, 2013. Having evolved since it's start in 2000, IntegratED is unlike most professional development events. Instead of the usual "sit and get" approach, the premise of IntegratED is active learning, with ample hands-on practice time and continuous dialog between facilitators and teams of participants from around the Pacific Northwest. Formerly known as the Instructional Technology Strategies Conference (ITSC), IntegratED is produced by the Organization for Educational Technology and Curriculum (OETC).

Find us at the O'Reilly Tools of Change Conference

Tools of Change Conference LogoThe publishing industry is in the midst of profound change that goes much deeper than simply using new tools and technology to publish in new formats. That's why Steve Burt, Manager of Content & Research for Clarity Innovations, attends the annual O'Reilly Tools of Change (TOC) Conference in New York this February 12-14 to connect and share expertise about digital media, publishing and content strategy.

Find us at TCEA 2013

Keeping in touch with the needs of educators means attending national and regional events to listen, observe, and collect feedback and input. Join Ileana Rowe, our Product & Marketing Architect, on assignment in Austin, Texas the week of February 4th for the annual TCEA Convention. Find us contributing to the conversation and the discussion on Twitter. As has been common practice in years past, we'll post updates about our experiences on our blog, The Foundry.

Techbridge Chosen by Clarity Staff for Year-End Donation

At the end of each year, the staff of Clarity Innovations choose an organization for the company to support with a financial donation. We seek out non-profit organizations making a meaningful contribution in a field related to our mission: to improve the process and practice of teaching and learning through effective use of technology. Techbridge was selected because of the work it’s doing in formal and informal learning environments to promote science and engineering as positive fields for girls to study in school and to pursue as a career.
