DrupalCON - Portland - Using Drupal in Schools

Clarity Helps Select the Best of Blogs for Education

Earlier this year, Clarity Innovations was asked by eSchool News to judge the numerous entires for their Best of the Education Blog Awards. Last week, the winners were unveiled at FETC. Congratulations to EduWonk, Assorted Stuff, Moving at the Speed of Creativity, and Applied Science Research. Also judging the Awards were Tim Lauer and Tim Wilson, two contributors to Clarity's Ed-Tech Coast to Coast podcast.

National School Boards Assocation (NSBA) Annual Conference

Clarity Innovations began working with NSBA after the launch of BoardBuzz, NSBA's daily commentary on national educational issues and events. Knowing the potential for emerging technology to multiply their effectiveness, we worked with them to demonstrate their value for capturing events in real-time at their Technology + Learning + Leading Conference. From that resounding success, we extended the pilot to their flagship event, the Annual Conference. With our expertise and know-how, NSBA was able to extend the reach of their event and enhance its offerings.

Recent Workshop Provides Perspective on Learning Landscape

Earlier this week, Clarity Innovations held two workshops at the Organization for Educational Technology & Curriculum (OETC) Instructional Technologies Strategies Conference (ITSC). Steve Burt and Thor Prichard, along with guest presenters Tim Lauer and Melissa Lim, showcased how the Web is evolving into a new paradigm for communication and collaboration, and the role this has in education. The workshops, structured using the Clarity Institute Model, were extremely popular and well received.
