Discussing the policy implications of Web 2.0

Each year the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) brings together education leaders and policy makers to discuss and debate best practices for managing technology in education. (This year's event takes place in Austin immediately prior to SXSW, making it incredibly convenient for attending.) Thor Prichard from Clarity will be attending and asking the obvious questions about the instructional opportunity with mobile devices that also happen to be cell phones.

Costa Rican Educators Learn about 21st Century Skills in Project-Based Learning from Clarity Innovations

This time it's Costa Rica, where Peggy Grant will be giving the keynote presentation to a group of English language educators and curriculum advisors. Hosted by the Ministry of Education and the University of Costa Rica, with support from the Intel Education group, Peggy will be conducting three workshops about assessing 21st century skills in a project-based English language classroom in early December.Read more...

Ride the Train with us to NSBA T+L in Seattle

Several of our team from the Portland office will be taking a field trip to Seattle to attend the National School Board Association’s (NSBA) T+L Conference on Tuesday, October 28th. You're welcome to join us aboard Amtrak's Cascades for the round trip from Portland. It's a chance to meet informally and share, reflect, and brainstorm ideas, solutions and strategies for improving how technology is used to improve teaching and learning.
