Webinar: Assessment in 21st Century Classrooms
October 6, 2010Join Dr. Peggy Grant as she reviews components of mini-lessons on critical thinking and demonstrates a process for modeling a critical thinking skills in the classroom. The Webinar room will open 15 minutes prior to the start of her presentation, which is to take about an hour (inclusive of time for questions and answers).

Featured at this month's MobilePortland will be a panel of experts to speak about the role of mobile technology in education. Thor Prichard of Clarity Innovations will be moderating the interactive discussion with attendees. The event is free and open to anyone interested in technology in education (or mobile devices of course) and takes place at the Portland Incubator Experiment on Monday, August 23rd, at 6pm. Thor Prichard (attending on behalf of Clarity Innovations) is also an EdNET Awards judge. The EdNET Industry Awards program was created in 1992 to champion the efforts of progressive organizations helping to revitalize the nation's educational system. The industry conference takes place in Boston, September 25-28, 2010.
