Thor Prichard will be attending the Content in Context Learning Resource Metadata Initiative (LRMI) workshop, June 5, 2013. This is a project co-led by the Association of Education Publishers (AEP) and Creative Commons to define and publish the necessary metadata to enable easier search of education specific content on the Web. Our Technology & Engineering Manager Jon Fronza snuck off to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summit 2013 last weekend for the important topic of “Navigating the Cloud”.
By attending these technical product and solution sessions Clarity gains more insight to dive deeper into the services we already use to maintain our performance, security, and architecture best practices.

To continue the conversations with colleagues and share some of Clarity’s latest projects, Thor Prichard and Ileana Rowe will be attending the 2013 SIIA Ed Tech Industry Summit May 5-7th in San Francisco. The theme this year is “Navigating Next” to support the changes that schools want and need in a post-PC world. This is very much aligned with Clarity’s focus on infrastructure, products and services that explore content development for multiple platforms, emerging best practices for mobile learning, and strategies for adapting Web based applications for mobile devices. The focus of this year's conference is about taking educators and school leaders from "talking the talk" to "walking the walk" in regards to innovative, collaborative and globally connected classrooms.
