Our Team

As President and CEO of Clarity Innovations, Thor Prichard leads a team of professionals with the unique expertise necessary to meaningfully transform the process and practices of education. His effort is focused on multiplying the effectiveness of clients working towards a vision for teaching and learning in a global society.

Steven has been working for Clarity Innovations for the past five and a half years as Manager of Content and Research. He oversees the development of new solutions for Clarity's clients which typically involves blending research-based practices with emerging technologies. He's paying a lot of attention right now to the educational potential of Web 2.0, content syndication and mobile devices.

Supporting our projects through implementation is Tysa Fennern. She is primarily responsible for coordinating the workflow, documentation, and QA of deliverables for our clients. She is a "janet of all trades", with a background in project management, systems analysis, online resource development and supporting technology integration initiatives. 

Julia Fischer is an educator turned content developer for Clarity. As a classroom teacher Julia used innovative teaching methods and materials with her middle school students. Julia discovered online learning and took courses which led to facilitating online courses as well as writing content for these courses in multiple platforms. She transitioned to a district level position where she planned, facilitated and supported professional staff development.

Peggy is a content developer for Clarity Innovations, working primarily on educational content for the Web and for online and face-to-face training in project-based-learning and technology integration.

Stefanie Hausman is a Content Developer at Clarity Innovations, where she creates online tools and resources for K-12 teachers and students. Stefanie has been working in education for almost twenty years. She has had varied teaching, teacher training, and curriculum development experiences in the United States and internationally.

Malcolm is Clarity's Infrastructure Manager and lead strategist for applying emerging technologies in the enterprise.  He manages all aspects of information technology resources for Clarity and it's clients.

Jonathan Maier has a 20-year track record of bringing groundbreaking educational  media to market. As a producer and client lead, he uses his product and team management expertise to deliver on our clients' project needs. He’s a catalyst for innovation and creative problem-solving, advocating for end-users and their requirements, be they fun, functional or both.

Tom Layton pioneered the use of technology to empower learning. An inspirational evangelist of instructional technology, thousands of teachers across the globe have heard Tom speak passionately about online learning and the future of education. Tom was one of Apple's first Distinguished Educators and named Educator of the Year by Electronic Learning Magazine well  before the Web (or even multimedia CD-ROMs) existed. 

Mary is a full-time writer and expert-level Microsoft Office and Internet specialist. She grew up surrounded by science, technology, and education (being a close relative of engineers and educators) and has more than a decade of electronic and print publishing and design experience, including hands-on experience in the book, animation, magazine, newspaper, courseware, educational, advertising/marketing, and Web publishing industries.

With a love for learning and teaching, Biz Northup has had the opportunity to teach a broad spectrum of learners.

As an emerging technology analyst, Aaron researches new and promising tools and methods that improve organizational communication and facilitate community engagement.  From his extensive background in enterprise technology management, he understands the key strategies for successful implementation.

As a content developer for Clarity, Judi Yost develops online and face-to-face professional development curriculum, assists countries in their adaptation of training materials, and conducts professional development trainings—most notably for the Intel® Teach Program.
