Steve has been working for Clarity Innovations since the fall of 2002 as the Manager of Content and Research. He oversees the development of new solutions for Clarity's clients which typically involves blending research-based practices with emerging technologies. He's paying a lot of attention right now to the educational potential of Web 2.0, content syndication and mobile devices.

Prior to his work at Clarity, Steven was a high school administrator for three years. He also has worked as a tech coordinator and Webmaster. He began his career in education as a History and English teacher where he taught everything from AP courses to fine art. These experiences put him directly in touch with the reality many educators face when trying to apply technology effectively in their teaching. Steven also presents workshops, trainings, and keynote presentations for corporations and conferences. In 2000, Steve was named by Realistar as one of America's Top 100 Teachers and has been awarded Best of the Best at NECC for the past two years. Steven holds a bachelors in history and philosophy from USC and a masters in education from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.
